Llama 4 was a little lame…

Llama 4 was released to much fanfare last week from Meta. While they claimed some of the top benchmarking results, initial users were underwhelmed, with some claiming it was rushed in response to DeepSeek and other AI releases.

Not only was the performance and results not all that was promised, it also is potentially a source of security concerns.

While tariffs are expected to make things more expensive in general, there has been some whiplash in the never-ending changes, including a temporary reprieve on them, and a carve out for smart-phones, computer chips, and computers.

It Rain’s on Amazon’s Low Earth Orbit Satellites

Amazon was looking to launch its first grouping of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites to compete against Space X’s internet service. However, rockets a still a fickle thing, where something as simple as rain can keep it from taking off.

So yes, while your car has nothing to worry about when it rains, but those multi-million dollar rockets do… which is why they scrubbed the mission, waiting for clearer skies.

The plan is still for a planned 3,200 satellites which are to make up Amazon’s first Project Kuiper constellation, with commercial service for satellite Internet starting in late 2025.

Build a WordPress site with AI

Wordpress.Com has just released a new option to allow you to build a WordPress site using just AI. While other AI site builders exist, none have integrated into the most popular content management system (CMS) until WordPress rolled out it’s own.

While this system still cannot handle complex integrations, such as online shopping with its WooCommerce integration, it is in on the planning schedule.

Only time will tell how well this compares with other options.
